Grab a tube and your honey and take a float in the chilly water...
Every care seeps from your skin As you dip extremities in The chilly Frio River. Lay in the safety of a circle Inner tube and swimsuit purple. Scorch your top and freeze below Relax and with the current flow. Lay on your back and watch the sky, Trees and clouds go floating by, Breeze the calms, Finesse the rapids, Concentrate on rocky hazards. Joyful water rushing through, Washing rocks and fish and you. If you glide that silver stream Holding hands or locking feet With the man who shares your dreams, Love indeed is sweet as seems Steeped in the Rio Frio.
Love your poem, Bess, since I love tubing and rafting, on any river, anywhere - so peaceful, relaxing, and soul soothing - and a magnificent way to take in Nature's glory. Wonderful write!

Hello, Bess.. My friend, Ed Matlack, sent me a message to not miss your poem, here.. he told me 'it's your kind of poem and your kind of pic'.. he's never been more right! I floated into the picture and became entirely immersed in the poem. This was not simply reading an inviting, enchanting piece of poetry... you painted mind pictures that drew me in.. the whimsical details like 'locking feet' appealed to my own vision of a day that your description makes me ache for... Never heard of the river itself, but the idea is world wide, as tubing I have gone on the Delaware river in Pennsylvania last summer! This poem has such beautiful rhyme, it screams out to allow the rest of us to jump in with you, and that picture, what a place for a rope swing...! Looks as if Peace is Found, Ed & Rufuz
