We all them have for a moment at Christmas time, however, brief....
Remembering holidays that have passed,
laughing at things that were only funny to us.
Years pass
I try to find you in my mind
warm lips on cold nights,
now all I have is the cold.
Wondering if you look at certain things
or hear certain songs
and think of me.
Dreaming you do
not wanting to think of the reality that you
are probably not thinking of me at all
I have been replaced
with new love and new songs
new holiday memories
so here I sit holiday blue
looking at Christmas lights
thinking of you...
Neat poem, not pertaining to me but blue christmases are here for many. I try to make it a red and green day and colorful as can be and fight the blues away and not let them talke oer me on holidays now that I am in my sr. age.
