Watch your gardens day and night. There's a veritable Broadway show going on in them!

Hummingbirds and butterflies See how fairie twirls and glides 'Tween the honeysuckle vine Nectar sweeter than wine Sunbeams daisies peek-a-boo Dew drop skies in eyes of blue Fairie dancing still so sweet Cattails pound out the beat Lighting bugs twinkling the night Fairie tip toes out of sight Gypsy moth twirl in their glow It's the end of the show Jane Noponen Perinacci

I get the same effect about 3 fingers down on the second bottle of wine. But I'm saving your poem for the next time I run out of wine.
I'll be on the lookout for honeysuckle nectar sweeter than wine.

You took me to a lazy day in mid-summer fishing by the pond. Visions of beautiful fairies running through my head as I doze off� Only to be awakened by the raucous defense of his territory of cattail patch and nest by the reigning redwing blackbird. Until the buzzing of the flies and dragonflies send me into daydream land again.
