...ah, such memories of childhood...

Poem Artwork

As children we did as well play,

In and out of the ocean during our day,

Tans so dark hard we were to see as night,

Our butts below our bathing suits bright white…

Mom used to show off the comparison,

After all I was so I thought her son,

Grandparents, aunts and uncles saw our white,

Through the summer months we darkened from light…

The winter months our tans did exit,

Now from the sun I cannot even take off my shirt,

Too much tanning as a kid, the suns rays we did then permit,

So much worry now of cancer and death,

Childhood was much better, no worries of someday having no breath…

Precious Ed,
no need to worry, just get checked like I did at the dermatoligist...PLEASE MAKE AN APOINTMENT..Don't put it off...I wrote about the ocean today along with a bunch of others..Must be some connection we all have, lol..Ok, so prevention with cancer just takes one visit..Look in your phone book under dermitoligists..My brother put his offgoing to the doctor and had cancer for two years..Not to scare you but to share with you..Be safe, angel Ed..

In memory I can even smell the Banana Boat suntan lotion we all used and with me...freckle to freckle you could connect the dots.
Thanks for the memories.
Susan
