Am I too nice a guy...?

Poem Artwork

We have her day off planned,

Getting together & having fun,

Just to be together maybe out in the sun,

She is still willing to visit, BUT,

Later that day she’s made plans with her family,

So, even though it depresses me,

I allow our plans to change, I guess I understand…

Afterall we don’t do too much anyway,

I may go to the boat show by myself,

Even though I didn’t want to with her,

Who wants a boat, or even to look at one,

I can’t afford it, but I need something to do,

To keep from being even more depressed,

Maybe in the end, from being a nice guy,

I will eventually be blessed…

She works a lot, by her own choice,

I ADMIRE that, but don’t get to see her,

Through my whole life I have been anyway alone,

I guess I can deal with it, I have before,

Just double up on anti-depressants,

Then sit in my shoebox, whine & groan…L

Ed, don't ever change who you are, from what I know being a nice, sensative guy will always come out on top in the end! Our feelings are easily hurt however, being a guy without feelings would be a million times worse! Be yourself, a nice guy.
All the best buddy, Stuart (downunder)

Ed, I'm with Karla! Tell her how you feel...but it's nice to know there are still nice guys out there!

(((Ed))),

Rather a nice guy than a creep. She sees that in you, knows you'll understand. But why don't you tell her you miss her? Keep the lines of communication open. =]

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.

Thoughtful write. Being alone can be a drag at times. Maybe she is just worn out. Excellent write. Liz

Hey Ed,I want to tell you that she loves you very very much.Like Bonnie said, tell her how you really feel or better yet write a poem about your feelings and this situation. They say that nice guys finish last, well in my opinion nice guys always finish first which is why you are #1 in her life.Don't ever change who you are and don't put doubts in yourself.Talk to her and speak from your heart.Take care of yourself

Oh you are a nice guy Ed, but tell her how you feel. Every woman loves to hear how much you need and want her. She is a lucky woman. Love, Bonnie
