Hiding in its den,
Biding time in its lair,
Wishing for a family pride,
The den belongs to the wolf,
Not no body else, no bear…
Maybe though the wolf with white hair,
Is just through the full moon in its den there,
Afraid to leave and feed, scared to whom it will eat,
On Halloween it can go out while wearing a sheet…
What big feet you got, Doc,
All the better to run & catch a meal,
What big eyes you got too,
All the better to see in the dark,
And what big teeth you got also,
So much the better to eat from others what I steal…

Hmm...what did the doctor do to you? A Halloween prankster ready to take candy from passers-by?
Funny rendition on the wolf and his lament.
Thanks, ~D.
Good seeing you here but starting to wonder if you've lost your wryness of wit. This poem was pretty darn tame!
When I think of white haired wolf I think of the two legged ones on Wall Street. They are the ones to be cautious about.
Good seeing you here sir during my break from the poetic den side,
