Helping the self is this write for sure, though no help have I received yet...ed

Poem Artwork

Two nights with short little day naps,

Tired though I seem to be, no sleep do I get,

Smoking the herb doesn’t help,

Though I haven’t tried a pill, yet,

I seem though to be able to nod off,

While reading or writing on the pooter’…

My head does hit the pillow,

And start to itch I seem to get,

I seem also to be all wired out,

I can talk a mile a minute,

My mind runs to the infinite…

Never have I felt this, to my memory at least,

I would prefer, believe it or not, not to take a drug,

I wanted to hit the beach today, but not in this condition,

Don’t want to see either my physician,

Maybe I just need a hug,

Or better yet a longer visit from Rene…

Sounds like you got the winter blahs to me, or is it the blues? You can pull out of them. Just think of those warm summer days ahead in a few months and the beach walks and romps with Rufuz. Rufuz is not blue, he is standing by you.

I can commiserate with you on this one old friend for I have been waking and arising at 3:30 to 4 am for the past few weeks and I know once I am awake I may as well get up. Having neither the benefits of herbs to smoke, Pills to pop, or Renee (just kidding) it makes for a long day for sure.

Two things: take a walk by the beach. Drink a little milk before bed. Works for me.

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.

You need to get out there on that beach, and walk a mile a minute, Bro. And now, ya got Ma worried again. She wants Brother Edvard to fly right out there, and give you a real big Ed Hug.
