Ports sealed, windows covered,
Doors locked & hatches tight,
Rain, wind & waves approach,
A hurricane does on my little boat encroach…
Not a “perfect storm” but it will do,
Would put into port, but none near,
Gonna have to ride her out,
Through this force five & show no fear…
Plenty of fuel, the Rene Lyn sips so little,
Sandwiches made for I won’t be leaving her helm,
She’s been built to weather the worst,
We must pray this storm does not us overwhelm…
