I gotta admit,
After today driving a round trip,
Of close to 100 miles, ain’t that the sh**?
They then told me that I wouldn’t do,
My record as old as 31 years,
The reason for me off they blew…
Is this a recession or a full blown depression,
I know many out of work for quite a few years,
Fortunately some have wives that work,
Alleviating some of their shorter term fears,
But those of us running out of assistance,
When are we going to see some regression…?
I realize there are many situations that are worse,
That does not change my worries, or make me less curse,
I try to see a better future, I try to look forward to change,
All I can do for now, is to write down my feelings in this verse,
And pray that things change soon & the currents get more adverse…

when I was a kid, a break at school was called - Recess.
that was when we Played for a short - While.
ergo, said time period might be called a - Recession?
when one pushes something down, it is - Depress.
when the thing pushed down is the Mind, one lacks a - Smile.
ergo, a sad state of mind is a - Depression.
so - whichever you choose to select as the lesser of two evils -
or - rather, the one more positive, should make you feel better!
Choice - Attitude - Perspective - Selection ... that's what it's all about!
