She still runs and plays like a pup,
She barks too much for my taste, yup,
Of course she is going to whine,
Her mommy left her with me, which is fine,
Only a couple of days, but she is such a baby,
She has yet to cross any even imaginary line…
She is just lonely for her mom,
And I got her tied up outside,
She is not familiar with my yard,
Crazy her whining & barking is driving this bard…
Any advice would be well appreciated,
She is only almost across the street from home,
Probably that she can still see home is why she’s blue,
But for now she will just have to live with it,
And learn she is here for a short time, alone she will be,
I cannot sit outside and keep her company, stuck to her like glue…

Poor Dusty! Take your roommate inside, wrap her in a warm blanket, give her a Milkbone, and tell her a story.

Ed's got a new friend named Dusty
Her mood is a little gusty
She's yapping and whining
Barking and pining
And Ed's canine skills are rusty
dirty laundry hamper - hopefully with her scent on it - also the pillow from her bed - or even a hairbrush - make Dusty up a little bed and try one article at a time.
