"And I will show wonders in the heavens, and in the earth, blood and fire and pillars of smoke.  The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the coming of the great and awesome day of Jehovah."  Joel 2:30 -31

Come mid April , the universe will become

 Perplexed by a spectacular sight

When our moon will turn blood red

It is what happens once in a red moon

 All in a row they come as   lunar eclipses

The faraway big huge sun on one side

The little moon of the earth this side

And the earth in between behold be

The moon it is in the shadow of the earth

Escaping the direct light of the sun

All in a line

All in a line

And from the earth we see the moon blood red

O what a wondrous sight

When the glorious moon  will ape the sun

Reflecting red  bright  colour seen

All in awe of what's in its sheen 

When the amber robe is in the new glow

What makes it all the more exciting

Is that it happens three times again

After six full moons in between

In this year and the next

So the name four red moon tetrad

To coincide with the Jewish feasts

 Of the  Passover  and the tabernacle

The Sun and the Moon and the stars

Often show signs of changing seasons  

 Will we find changes happen in this combined phase in astro stars

 The rare appearance of four blood moons on feast days

Coincided with something beginning in tragedy and ending in a triumph

In 1492, Jews were expelled from Spain,

 While Columbus discovered America

This benefited many Jews who could settle there

In 1948 Israel was reborn as a nation

When people came from different regions 

The  four blood moons of 2014  and 2015

Will soon begin  one by one

Hope peace  prevails far and near

And pray no calamity  comes  our way

Many say the end is near, it is all over
