Rain havoc in 2013 due a cloud burst in Uttarakand, India Dark clouds grow wild, frown Crack break on hilltop, all drown Flowing rivers take Raindrops falling on Leaves on trees now washed so clean Soon dry in the air Unseasonal rains play Farmers cry, fearing for life Stalks of corn maize fall With rains moderate fall Rich golden harvest make them All Happy and gay Change is the constant Seasons come, cold ,hot and wet LIFE carried forward

India is a land of great extremes--great wealth greater poverty; majestic buildings, hovels barely able to stand; intense heat, torrential rain. And then there is Roseline--a perfect flower, who rises up and soothes all.
