Lucky Me

Just how lucky can a guy get?

Lucky me. 

Recent emails have such good news

I ‘ll never again need to sing the blues

 

I must be the luckiest man alive

This last week no less than five

Ladies in their 70’s named me

as their only beneficiary

 

Five wealthy ladies I’ve never met

 how lucky can an old guy get?

Why they chose me I’ll never know

But inheriting money is the way to go.

 

Ten million each they’d leave it all

if I’d just give their lawyers a call

I’m sure there will only be a slight fee

To get all this money coming to me.

 

But with 50 million I’d be rich

I know I’d collect without a hitch.

There’s only one problem that I see.

All five ladies are younger than me.

You are one handsome devil, even at your age! And I'd like to know your technique when it comes to romancing 70-year-olds. It could come in handy when I get your age…

Very funny, but wishful, thinking. In my case, it's the other way around.
