Martian Volcanoes
Fires that shook me once, but now to silent ashes fall'n away.
Cold upon the dead volcano sleeps the gleam of dying day.
- Tennyson

..........................................................................

Xanudu gave birth to our Son Xerxes ,Prince of the New Golden Dawn

Precious cosmic seed to regenerate fresh virgin life

The errors of judgement, and mistakes of the past must be erased

To retrieve the souls of Cain and Abel

The Ancient Astral Brotherhood have decreed

Experiment Earth was a failure

Religion and Politics the Curse

The new Martian Bloodline, will not be stained by original sin

Armies, weapons and warfare exchanged for plough and share

And all Men and Women will recognize the One Supreme Being

Love, Peace and Honesty will be the Leading Lights

That distinguish Mars from Earth

We propagated and procreated the hybrid celestial race

And built the communities of tolerance all along the frozen iced Canals

Liberated from the dogma of who does what, is right

Instilled with the loving discipline, that this world is ransomed to All

We sojourned under Glorious Galactic Nights beneath the Canopy of Heaven

Irrigation channels and Fertilization spores sowed the rebirth of air and land

Cosmic plants and fauna took over from lava and magma

And the Red Planet rejoiced, as Transfiguration took place

All the genuine altruistic doctrines and ideals learned and preserved from birth

And Death and Expulsion to Hatred, Anger and Strife

No dissenting voice, would ever take hold in this Utopian World

From the beginning the Absolute Belief, that All are Equal before The Eternal One

With all the checks and balances set in place, to keep the Perfect Equilibrium

There is always a price, for everything you do

What we put out into our World has got to be honest and true

And as we gaze into the Universe, and marvel at the countless galaxies

Just remember this, someone, somewhere else, is gazing back at you

Makes me think how your theme and style has metamorphosed since your last sustained spell here a while back Peter. I really used to enjoy your "fabled" or allegorical tales that had such richness and depth, and this is like a "throw-forward" instead of a "throw-back". You have become more "geometric", somehow, I feel. More algebraic and less filigree. But all expressions have a very strong voice and a vibrant message. I like the tangential qualities to this and the very bold pictures that it projects for us. Bless you, Kate xx

Experiment Earth was a failure
Religion and Politics the Curse

With every passing day lately, I sadly find myself believing this more and more.

Can I join your Sojourn to Mars, Peter - and can I bring along a few lovable little critters, too?? I promise we won't take up too much space.

I really enjoyed this epic poetic journey of yours, my friend.

An ending or beginning of a wonderful ride in the Universe while stopping to populate Mars. The last sentence sums it up nicely as that someone is God.
