Gnosticism
A belief that salvation is achieved through relational and experiential knowledge. In the words of The Gnostic Apostolic Church, humanity needs to be awakened and brought "to a realisation of his true nature. Mankind is moving towards the Omega Point, the Great day when all must graduate or fall. This day is also the Day of Judgment in that only those who have entered the Path of Transfiguration and are being reborn can return to the Treasury of Light. "

Free us from this world of utter darkness
by the knowledge and enlightenment of the self
teach us that God is both within and without
and let no prejudices settle in our hearts
for we are all partakers of the same stock
where there is darkness let there be light
because duality exists, and all is relevant
we pray to be returned to the shores of God
where we once reposed and rejoiced
we err, because we are ignorant
and we must free ourselves
from the evil material life and bodily existence
for by accruing wisdom and insight, we gain salvation
we must constantly meditate on our inner self and soul
to liberate ourselves from the malign clutches of ignorance
we are seperated from the Creator incomprehensible
by our own selfish actions and forgetfulness
we seek to eliminate the primal cause of our suffering
which is our irreconcilable antagonism to the Source
for our spirit is unalterably divine
and we will return home to our Maker at the end of time
we praise and recognise Sophia, the feminine spirit of creation
who gives birth to the enlightened ones of our realm
as we work to remove the imperfections from aeons before
and live forever in the Divine Spiritual Reality
