I have been in and out and on the road lately, with little time to write or comment.I'm taking a little lunch time to catch up on some favorites and I have discovered this. I thank you for your words today, the beautiful illustration of your faith and gentle kindness, and the reminder of the Lord's undying love and forgiveness.

I gotta hand it to you Sir Peter...you walk the walk. I admire all your pens and can't think of any disappointed pen since I came to the Den. You're inspirtional writes are my favorite and you didn't disappont me with this one either.

Peter,

We all fall short of the Glory of the Lord, we all may make enemies knowing and not knowing, it is easy to offend especially when we do not know what we offended someone with for we all have a set of beliefs, exceptions etc. And it is often misunderstanding that can wrong us without knowing.,..... I start every morning with the Lords Prayer that Jesus taught us only I make it personal

This part I would say,
Lord forgive those that tresspass aginst me as we know they will, and forgive me for tresspassing others this day as I know and may not know it will happen.....

I use this prayer as a model of meditation, prayer, and captioning the parts of it. I have carried on to long here about your wonderful poem but I would say you cover it all and yes in the end the only forgiving is at his hand.......

This one inspired me beyond words....... Let us always with humble hearts ask forgiveness before we offend....If we may be about to unknowingly.
