And The Jester Danced
By: Fee
Soft the touch of a wanting heart
That craves love in the night
A page of time, like tainted wine
Raids the last of evening light
Their pillow talk, as the angels walk
Through shadows out of sight
The Queen of Tart, will fall apart
As the Jack to Royal Joker cries
I loved her once, but not enough
And the breeze echoes his sighs
While on her back, the virgin lacks
The ability to offer tainted lies
On bended knee, a lonely plea
In dawn’s own telling tale
Now lovers weep, the secret keep
The demons smile is stale
Holds out a hand, in blind command
Surrender now the lover’s grail!
Love ya!
Jane

Poignancy in these lines - very well penned. When the Muse inspires, write it down, or it could be lost, forever -
(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.
