To the woman who inspires men to write romance, this one's for you...

Poem Artwork

Fantasy Lover

By: Fee

Please tell me that I can touch your heart

With a fingertip or two of love’s emotion

Let me hold you in a dreamscape sweet

Drenched in a moment’s sweet devotion

Basking in the whisper of a summer breeze

Holding your hand against kisses on my lips

Warm breath tasting warm breath like a tease

While pressing passion against swaying hips

Fleeting hungry images like wisps of smoke

Disappearing in the sad unfairness of time

Little painful drabs of what could have been

If I had been yours and you had been mine

I blow one last kiss through teary raindrops

Then slowly walk back alone into my head

Where doors aren’t locked to true romance

And we could share morning laughter in bed

The yearning and sadness of reaching for someone who is just out of reach, different lives and times that keep you separate, you have portrayed that longing brilliantly. Well Done! Deborah

I will prefer all of it at the shore of our secret place by the river where no past can intrude or future whisper realities, just that tender moments with the only company of a discret moon hiding now and then behind the clouds...and then...I wake up, and she isn't there.

A very endearing, meloncholy write laced with many deep emotions, perhaps of regret, perhaps of opportunities passing into the annals of time....

Be always safe,

In this romantic plea there are so many scenarios that could spin off and every reader will have their own. Once again you give magic to the possibilities that love gives us always.
Blessings and love,
