I met a man in chruch today. He lost his job, has no money in the bank, and has no home. He has to start from scratch. He was smiling. Why? Read on...

I I met a man today. He had lost much. He lost a six figure job. He lost his car, his home, furniture, and such. He smiled at me and introduced me to his wife. He smiled because he did not loose, what was really important in his life. He had nothing to give, but wanted to help others out. He wanted to give, he wanted to live, he didn't gloat, and he didn't pout. There was a glow about him that I have seen in few men before. I recall a time when I was sad and lost. I wanted to change and I was wanted what I saw in this mans eyes. Then the man smiled at me and told me the cost maybe a surprise. He told of the price I had to pay, to feel happy and free, He said to give my trust in a Man who came from Galilee. That day my life changed all because of a Man on a cross. He sent a massager and He came to heal the lost. Hard times may not mean you look sad for the world to see. A hard time is when you are lost and you’re broken inside spiritually. Hard times on the inside can change, Just pray and you will see. You will see happiness. You will see hope. You will see victory. You will see joy. You will see peace. John this is beautiful as I have been asked how come I am always smiling and happy, you see for me the sun shines on the wettest, coldest, darkest days because I was given the gift of life from our Father above. If you have faith and your heart is filled with love you are rich in more ways then you can imagine. Thank you for sharing.

This is quite inspirational! It is so true, especially in today's world, that we must realize that material things are not permanent. If we rely too heavily on material items, we will miss out on what is important. If we lose our jobs, or other material losses, we need to reach out and help others who may be in a worse situation. The hard times on the "inside" of us can, and will change with prayer, and by giving of ourselves fully to others.
