A man's pride tells him to journey alone . A man's heart tells him to remain quiet as a stone. A man's mind tells him nobody will understand. A man's emotions tell him to be in control like a man Mindless actions and words can ruin a perfect day. Maybe you can relate to this scenerio. I sure can. For sometimes it’s better to love softly that to act like a _____. Isaiah 2:11 The eyes of the arrogant man will be humbled and the pride of men brought low; the LORD alone will be exalted in that day. Amen Pride and a cold heart can chase love away.

John this is a wonderful message
you have written
and also a teaching of very sound wisdom

arrogance is a terrible trait
and pride has two faces
one through diligence of hard work & achievement
and one through self servance of ego
hurting others to get there
hard work is a good thing...

I certainly can feel your passion in this one. Sometimes pride gets in the way of many things. If you lose out on love due to pride then one isn't a man after all is he? I like you ending line, leaves the reader with divine thoughts.
