Here we go again, on the highway sinning again and again

I just cursed a fellow driver who raced around the bend

He cut me off, stopped short and then he swerved around

If I had a ____ I would most definitely put him in the ____________#!*

While we’re on the highway it’s easy to get angry and sin

This feeling comes when our fellow drivers almost do us in

They cut us off, speed by, stop short until our heads literally spin

But what can we do? If we try to out maneuver them nobody wins!

What can we do when our temper seems to flare from nowhere?

Is there one who can set an example when we don’t have a prayer?

We have a supernatural mentor, a patient God who is waiting at the door

He love and cares for us so much so let’s stop cursing; sin no more!

Well here we go again, another great day on America’s open highway

Another driver races pass, cuts me off and then quickly speeds away

This time I let him go because this life is much too precious to waste

His wife could be having a baby or perhaps he just wanted to race…

We’ll if he wanted to race, it may be the only race that he won today

So instead of cursing my driving neighbor, I’ll just sit quiet and pray

“Lord please protect all of us who driving down our roads and highways

Please allow us to arrive safely on our way so we can all live to see another day.”
