It all happened in a flash on the Mount of the Beatitudes

I sat on a large boulder, among many in a row

I quietly prayed and Jesus answered

He simply said, “Son, I am with you.”

I just cried tears of joy and smiled

I asked if He had been there before

He said “Yes, peace be with you.”

Jesus talked inside and through my heart

He came like the wind and vanished like a cloud  

In my life I visited many Holy sites both near and far away

But nothing can ever compare with my spiritual encounter on that day.
