Jesus was spit upon and cursed at.
Just to be like you and me…
He was hit repeatedly and suffered a fate much worse.
Why didn’t they just let Him be?
He was humbled and hated by the crowd.
Just to be like you and me…
He was whipped many times and yelled to “OUR Father” out loud.
This injustice I just cannot see…
He took our sins upon Himself, something only God would do
He gave the ultimate sacrifice because of His love for me and for you
Jesus took on all the suffering just so we could be free.
He wanted to feel pain just like you and me...
Reference: Revelation 21:4 God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things have passed away.
