Happy Independence Day!

Let’s hear it for the U.S.A.!

But can we still celebrate being independent?

For every year, fewer things are made in the U.S.A.

We are depending more and more on cheaper imports.

What has happened to our country? Have we lost our way?

For it’s getting harder and tougher every year.

To find things in the store that are made right here.

Even home grown food is getting harder to find.

Can’t we grow crops here? Have we lost our mind?

So now as we celebrate our freedom and independence…

 We are truly becoming more independently dependent.

So Lord, please help us, let us all pray.

to protect our freedom and independence.

May God continue to bless this great nation.

May God Bless the U.S.A.!
