Less than 36 hrs to touchdown and it seems that there is nothing slowing down Irma!

Poem Artwork

It seems like a fantasy, that's so uncanny but so surreal

But Irma is headed our way and this hurricaine is very Real!

We are up a creek without a paddle and we just have to pray

That's because we were told Irma is barreling down and is headed our way!

We live by a peaceful creek that links to the Gulf of Mexico

But Irma is a "War Goddess" and she is roaring to go!

So hear we are, waiting for this force of rain and wind to come our way

We have to pray for a miracle that folks heed the warnings and will live to see another day!

Amen!

Amen!

IRMA's Meaning:

In German the meaning of the name Irma is: Universal, from the Old German 'irmin'. War goddess.

Numerology: Expression

People with this name are excited by change, adventure, and excitement. They are dynamic, visionary and versatile, able to make constructive use of freedom. They fight being restricted by rules and conventions. They tend to be optimistic, energetic, intelligent, and to make friends easily. They may be changeable, restless, untidy, and rebellious.

 BIBLICAL PRAYER REFERENCE:

Matthew 8:23-27 (NIV)

Jesus Calms the Storm

23 Then he got into the boat and his disciples followed him. 24 Suddenly a furious storm came up on the lake, so that the waves swept over the boat. But Jesus was sleeping. 25 The disciples went and woke him, saying, “Lord, save us! We’re going to drown!”

26 He replied, “You of little faith, why are you so afraid?” Then he got up and rebuked the winds and the waves, and it was completely calm.

27 The men were amazed and asked, “What kind of man is this? Even the winds and the waves obey him!”

My son and daughter in law live on a lagoon several blocks from the seashore in Gulf Shores Alabama. I will send this poem their way as they are always dodging hurricanes (that's not possible is it?).
Irma was nasty. Glad the Lord protected you so you could write another day.

Irma was a force filled with natures fury. She sure left a path of destruction behind her and many are still suffering from the ravages of her impact. I hope it was not too bad where you live...M

You will be okay. I know this in my heart. You are a sink or swim guy and not one to give up.

Fear is not necessary, but a huge amount of precaution is required. There certainly is no running from this one unless you left some time ago in the right direction.

Although I don't actually live in Florida, I am a Floridian, based in Florida, so I am watching the progress of the storm very carefully from the distance, feeling helpless. My prayers reach out for your safely and all those in harm's way. John

I'm praying for all my friends in the U.S. 'cause I really don't know which way the winds are heading. I heard there two more on the way. I'm so worried for my friends and relatives in the U.S.

You all take good care of yourselves and stay safe.

Sending you lots of hugs and prayers...

Sandie
