Appreciation to Michael Schafer for getting me started. However, this poem made me hungry!

Poem Artwork

There once lived a lady who was the Dairy Queen

She lived off the fat of the land, or so it seemed.

Along came Sir Burger King who stole her heart away

They moved to Old McDonalds in the month of May

Sir Burger King lived on the Old McDonald Farm and he had this fling

He was in love with the Dairy Queen, she made him want to dance and sing!

Taco-Bells were ringing and the Baskin Robins were singing very loud

The coffee-mates made a special brew for the Royal Crown Wedding crowd

But most of the common folks did not have enough Star-bucks to go around

So, they went to Don Domino Pizzaman who was a big shot in town

He said to take the secret Sub-way to the Royal Castle grounds

Then Smokin Joe will open the doors and all will be safe and sound

Then a huge Sonic-Boom shook the palace and all who were there

It was “The Double-Cheese-Burglars” who created quite a scare!

Suspects were Big Mack and Frenchie Fry from Onion Ring Lake

It shook Burger King’s Palace and all the houses by Steak and Shake!

Frank Foot-long called Sheriff Arby Beef and cowboy, Roy Rogers

They searched “Mrs. Fields Farm” and the “Home of the Whopper”

They called the Colonel and his army from Kentucky Fried Chicken-land

Cracker Barrel and friends came to help out too; it all seemed so very grand

Mr. Duck and Doe Nuts went under cover and looked pretty mean!

Why, Private eye Pandara also checked out the crime scene.

Mr. Chick-fil-lay came from Philly to Onion Ring Lake that day

Then Dr. Wendy went along and they finally made some headway

They found solid gold hidden deep underground in Papa John’s Square

Something was fishy as Capt. Long John Silver was buried there

In the end Big Mack and Frenchie Fry were put in jail their crimes

The law finally ketched-up to those Two Guys. They did hard time!

The End!

Amen!

Quite a ham and cheesy tale about the silent crime wave that fast food has launched in our land. It will be a great population controller when all the patrons began dropping over from various obesity related ailments.

And your wordsmithing was superb with working in all the names of famous fast food franchises. But White Castle will probably sue you for leaving them out. May even sentence you to an underground prison where you will have to eat and travel SubWay. ;-)
