Nothing bugs more a spider than siblings misbehaving and mothers glowing in the dark.

Poem Artwork

From a glowing and mean mother
I was born long long ago, too long,
with six glowing hairy skinny legs
to help my self where I wish to go,
and I was happy in the dense forest
with a big net to provide me of foot,
if I didn’t mess with a black widow…
…not a problem in my whole world.

But, tell me you that are so learned,
Adam in Paradise, for what time long?
after messing around with that spider
that came with an apple and a worm;
well, suddenly I got my own troubles
two nasty brothers which I didn’t know
came to my part of the coziest jungle
fighting like two berserk arachnoids.

One was a smelly an horrible creature
that a wandered in Jersey boondocks,
furry like a goat and brightly glowing
limbs making rusty noises as he goes,
thought to come to the brother’s cave
just in passing and maybe to say hello,
but soon he changed his smelly mind
and gave a cold shoulder to Spiderfoot.

Not that the one living in a dirty cave
is any better of those dead-brain two,
mother should have cracked the eggs
before giving a chance to miss-outs
to come here to my peaceful home
and giving bad name to decent brawls,
they aren’t no brothers to me, no way,
I gonna get me a Black Widow…
and die happy before them two.

Georg, you too have forgotten me your sister spidrea, but not to worry, i would never bother you mother told me you 3 brothers all have different fathers,as do i and no one in this family knows who is who or what is what,so confusion reins, even though you write as well as spiderfoot ,though you have two less legs, but no less hair or brains...

Arachnida should have four pairs of legs, unless two were used to create the "BLACK WIDOW"... Anyway, what counts in this story is the mytheological grand.

The second stanza "Of Spiders & Brothers" made me think with my inner mind. Lines eight and nine of the fourth stanza did make my evening.

"Of Spiders & Brothers" is a poetic MYTHEOLOGICAL (Coined by Bendavi ben-Yehu made out of Mythology and Theology.) masterpiece.

In admiration,

Watch out for that black widow... it's her bite that will do you in

Do black widows eat/kill other spiders?

HO, HO, HO! Poor Long Georg. You were the eldest, why didn't you crack them eggs yerself??!! But Alas, we are here now, to torment you, Brother.

So crack some ice cubes, and get that Coors cold; we're crawlin over to visit. And you better have some good eats; you know how hungry that damned Jersey Devil always is.

With Brotherly Love,

Brain-Dead Spiderfoot Ed
