SOULFUL SHEE G. In Purple Passion send me an e-mail asking me to respond to her challenge.
Sorry if the quality isn't good, but who can let a challenge go by?
Although, still working as fast as I can to come back.

Poem Artwork

Ilove the disappointment-distorted face
after an audit by an almighty IRS agent
who after searching a few pounds of receipts,
can’t find one iota wrong, not a little one.

I love to see the dashed hopes at my door
of those Jehovah Witnesses, all in black,
seeing me dressed up as mighty Lucifer,
forgetting it is Halloween! Too bad.

I love receiving the sweetest of all words
that mother-in-law sends me by telegram
that she can’t come for a two months visit
because my brother in law is the lucky one.

I love after landing from an Australia trip
to see a Customs fellow diving with his hand
searching for an attempt at smuggling
in 24-hours' worth of dirty diapers.

I love challenges that try my little brain
to tell all of you of my love and describe --
well, with all my weird sense of humor --
what I love, and why, ha! ha! ha!

PS, after a grammar pointers from Ms. Phyllis Jean Green (known as Green Pea)
