One tried the angelic route, the other squealing to momma, but they never gonna be Ma's favorite, cos...guess who is it?

Poem Artwork

Blessing Momma for all the good things
for nine months holding beautiful Edvard
that was trying to kick a mighty storm
being so squeezed in her maternal pouch,
although to be fair she used Pa’s fire water
to baptize their first son with all her love.

Edvard was the only son born with brains
of all the whole menagerie hillbillies clan,
with the exception of Tiger Lily Edleen
which maybe is probably an adopted one,
cos we are an ugly bunch of zany people
and nobody will ever doubt us of that!

But I am digressing, as the first male born
if I am allowed to say in a very crazy house,
things were going quite sweet until when
a brawling monster, PeeWee Ed, saw the light
and kept on howling like a banshee in heat,
suddenly Ole Edvard wasn’t more number one!

Back to number one again when a babysitter
was needed, Momma was expecting another one,
something she pickup around smelly Jersey State,
so it was to me to keep the little PeeWee alive,
so until the third will come the babysitter I was,
my payment? when Ma gave me a toothless smile!

Then I was in total charge of cozy Sis Tiger Lily,
to watch her was for me then…a pure delight,
the li’l brothers I kept quiet by a simple method
licking the empty fire water jars left by Pa,
mother thought that she couldn’t had a better son,
and she told me it many times, even if she tried.

So now you know who’s Ma favorite son,
believe me, the best, and she didn’t even tried!

Sounds like a pretty good family to me, even with the sibling rivalry over which one is "Ma's Best"....

Be always safe,
Karen

I sure love my brainy bro Edvard,I always said you are the best
so good looking and talented too! Playing the flute, you used to
put me to sleep, and I had the greatest dreams ,until the other
ed's came home and spoiled it all with their constant fighting
Thanks for the memories dear Edvard! Sis Tiger Lily

Very, very funny, Georg. I'm the oldest of three boys and I was my mothers favorite, my next brother turned out to be my father's and, because the third was a boy and not a girl my refused to name him and left it up to my father... However, of the three of us he's the most successful, well, until my book is made into a movie.
Your friend, Mark

So you WERE born with brains, huh? What happened to them since then, probably was that swill Coors you drink burned them out of your head...and they say my drugs were bad, sure they were... & I won't even comment on P-wee's statement about my farts...Ed

I surely did see the light, and I howled 'cause I couldn't breathe! - that old obnoxious Moonshine of yours permeated that shack, along with Ma's Thick Pipe Smoke, and the Jersey Devil's Gigantic, Gaseous, Swamp Farts!!

No wonder I went howling off into them there woods, every chance I got. I even started to like the smell of skunks!

Brother Pee Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
