Poetry Is....
how do I define, describe,
make it come alive so that you
might see what it is to me.....
poetry is an unfinished dream, a
thought given wings, and that
moment almost forgotten... it is
a reflection of self, a breath never
taken, and a memory I cannot
forget... poetry is a glimpse into
the past, vision of tomorrow,
and truth of today... it bleeds
sorrow and radiates joy, marks
time and remains timeless, is rich
tapestry and blank canvas, and
it is the music that fills my heart
