Salute to Spring Inspired by delightful duo, Ginger Rogers and Fred Astaire …
Come outside! While away the first mild day;
bestow the balmy months the softest kiss,
the freshest caress: Air’s Astaire squeeze play.
Swing time, Spring: your navy, my pale blue bliss
under baby blue blanket sky. Goose flesh!
Loving this. Daytime dusted with powder clouds in white gauze wisps, our cheeks-to-cheeks mesh. Beak to beak; bare limbs' breeze rhythms louder than long we’ve heard. The music of life stirs beasts and birds in swing-sway syncopation; symphonic song bursts for dance connoisseurs, You and I, our debonair flirtation—
Top Hat’s off to One-Who-made us this way— Crazy for this Existential Ballet.
Great sonnet! You've captured the exhilarating feeling the season brings through the use of music and dance -- just perfect, and who better to bring on that Fred and Ginger! Great work, Helga.

SUPREME ELEGANCE AND POETIC BLISS HELGA!!!!
Ohhhh I love the old flicks with Astaire and Rogers and this compliments them with spring sooooooo elegantly!
Spring is
when the birds sing;
when the rain showers;
when the wind swirls;
and the trees dance;
and the flowers sway
the tippy-toe ballet.

HELGA,
Standing clapping this was sheer delight lively like spring.
"Swing time, Spring; your navy, my pale blue bliss
Under baby blue blanket sky. Goose flesh!
Loving this. Daytime dusted with powder
Clouds in white gauze wisps; cheek-to-cheek mesh,
Beak to beak; bare limbs breeze; rhythms louder
Than long we’ve heard; the music of life stirs
Beasts and birds in swing-sway syncopation; "
Superb sonnet. Befitting a unique couple of dancers
that will never be surpassed. I loved every dance I
ever saw them do! They truly were a once in a lifetime
pair!I really like the treatment you gave this poem
Helga, very dashing and elegant, as were they!
