Orographic rain is caused in the following way.

The warm moisture laden wind is blowing through the day.

It encounters a mountain and is force to rise

Which causes the air to expand in size.

Now the air has risen and experiences a decrease it’s temperature.

This is shown when we watch, using a thermometer.

The relative humidity contines to increase till it has reached the level of condensation

And the clouds become heavy and the rain falls greeted by the Earth, trees and flowers with great jubilation.

The falling rain sustains life on our Earth, without it our grass turns brown and our crops hard to grow.

The rain is the promise of life for the seeds which we sow.

They will not survive except for the rain which replenishes the ground.

So on those gray rainy days, stop and realish in the sound.

The rain falls and life is sustained

For all of life depends upon the rain.
