It's a beautiful day today. The sky is blue, sun shines bright and I am inspired to write.

All these to Adore

I watch across the road as the trees stand and lazily wave, swaying in the breeze.

The birds playfully take flight and then return to build nests in the branches of the trees.

There is a bumble bee outside my window trying persistently to enter through the window pane.

Although the window does not allow his entry he keeps trying as if in refrain.

The sky today is transparent with not one cloud to be seen anywhere.

The bee is the only creature out there that seems to have a care.

He can’t get past that window pane but he is unwilling to relent.

I wonder how long it will be before he quits for I see he is definitely persistent.

As I watch the trees, the birds and bees I am called to thank God once more.

For he in his wondrous and never ending love gave me all these to adore.
