Raindrops are not Lonely

It is rainy today here. I felt compelled to write about it. In books and movies they always use a rainy day when the character has bad news to share. That seems unfair. The rain just like the sun is a beautiful part of nature.

Poem Artwork

Have you ever noticed that in a movie or when you read a book?

They somehow always have it raining to give a tragic look

In reality a raindrop is not a friendless thing

For when it falls there are thousands more and they all join to sing

No loneliness because they fall and soon form puddles in which to splash

They all come down in unison sometimes and descend wher-re the wind may lash

Although they may be driven by the wind they are together as they fall

They may be a part of a hurricane or a spring shower or a squall

They may be just a drizzle, or a part of a thunderstorm

But they always come in numbers and never secluded in any form

Let it rain, Let it rain, Let it rain
