Soothing write, Ron. It reminds so much of taking a hot-air balloon ride and champagne lunch in that helium basket and floating away the day. Blessed Be, Ron.

As the saying goes "different stokes for different folks" the thing is "ease" doesn't always mean it's right, nor does unease mean it's wrong;-)!Excellent poem Ron!

Excellent thoughts and stellar poetry, Ron. We tend to dwell on that which frightens us and forget that it is our job to live our life to its fullest and enjoy every moment we are blessed with. The end is near, that is very true, but that is on a personal level and probably not on a global one. The moments we waste in fear can never be recaptured, so live life like today is our last day and smile with the sun rises again tomorrow.
