Ron, you have painted the image in a tremendously real color. One that shows pain for all. It could not have come at a better time. Some of the lines remind me of the series now broadcasting, Hatfields and McCoys. It all started with a feud. Well written indeed....'_'

Making war is a terrible human failing, Ronald. Your poem brings that out.
Urbanization is taking its toll on the koala populations as you say. The disease chlamydia is another factor. Australians are now realising they have to protect these little furry creatures.

Let freedom ring. If you live long enough to enjoy it. Maybe the dead can be counted? Too late to soak up the blood the ground already did. So your poem made me think that everybody thinks they are right and war makes it come true, that might makes right, remote control, bug-whacker, cry me a river no more.

The pawns are moved from either side while the fat cats keep their asses safe and comfortable. Nobody wins. Oh, I'm no military no-it-all by any means! I just hate to see families suffer. I give honor to all who gave their lives for this country and those who stand willing to do the same.

Nice poem on the senselessness of wars now. It used to be about war for freedom and about what is right, then it evolved into war for power and global control. Of late war became just corporate business, for profit and loss (never mind the lives lost). The coming war will not be measured in dollars as the new aggressors are nut cases we cannot negotiate with.

combatant's killed and maimed is atrocity enough - when you add in the collateral damage on both sides of a war the disgust and stink of it permeate the whole of mankind - the bloated decaying human flesh of all victims has the same putrid stench, combatant, civilian, man woman or child - in war it is an ignominious odor created by human ignorance - your poem speaks to the total shame of war Ron - I wish you love and peace my dear friend - Jon Michael

A perfect description of the history of mans continued insanity into war. I agree with Odin, but doubt any of us alive today or even their prodigy will ever see his vision. As a species we have not evolved to that state where we can live in harmony and having been in two I will tell you first hand of it's waste.
