Just a bit of nonsense. Any resemblance to any thing, person, or idea is solely by circumstance and I will not answer any lawsuits filed. ;-)

Girl Bee [Larger] by an Unknown Artist

What Will I Bee?

What will I bee?
A little bit of wee?
An insignificant tee,
or a knat you can't see?

Buzzing around the biz,
trying to take a whiz,
exclaiming geewhiz,
my stats are so diz.

Trying to suck a flower,
at this late great hour,
to make my bed or bower,
no longer in my power.

Struck by the great disease,
try to put my ducks at ease.
Sucker's so hard to please,
as I drink the blood of bees.

So if you want to be a fairy,
and flutter around poems airy,
of this bee, be very wary,
for the stinger I carry.

For it may, "float like a butterfly,
and sting like a bee." But,
my sting is softer just for thee.

Rhymes without reason of late,
you may think they're trash, or great.
But the bee made me open the gate,
open or closed, still makes rate.

So we leave this poem with a query,
are you lonely and so damned weary?
If so, don't be so damned leery,
when I call and you are so beery.

Delightfully concocted, Ron. I love bees and as you know, they are in danger. To answer your query in your comment (thank you) on my last poem, yes, she did read it and is delighted. Love and peace to you, Ron.

For it may, "float like a butterfly,
and sting like a bee." But,
my sting is softer just for thee.
(One of the best from Muhammad Ali).

Your playing around with all these words just made me realize something. Do you suppose the little piggy who cried wee, wee, wee all the way home was actually about to use the bathroom and couldn't get anyone's attention? And the fact that he couldn't get anyone's attention made him cry. I wonder...

A testament to the power of rhyme to entertain and thrill. Love this one, Ron. What's wrong with a little levity in this heavy world of ours. John

I can bee good,
and I can bee bad.
But your play on words,
was enjoyed by this lad.

If a bee catches me,
When my eyes are a little bleary,
All I do is forever at the bee leer,
I scare it away so I can straight steer...:) -e-

Gotta love this one. In today's world, there's no such thing as too much levity, eh?

Lovely, Ron! A lot closer to the mark of 'significant' than some previous efforts (in terms of metre), and this is furthermore not 'nonsense'. It's onomatopoically delightful! Sometimes things that one is too quick to apellatively dismiss as 'nonsense' or 'trivia' are in fact brilliantly entertaining and interesting. Let's see more 'nonsense' like this, eh! :)

Heh.Heh Gotta love the play on words, and I certainly do. If anyone files a lawsuit on you, Ron, I will be your character witness . . . Uh . . . Then again, maybe that might not be such a good idea, my character being what it is.
