A Salt and Batter

Went down to the battery the other day,

took with me a grain of salt.

Could have been a little bit more buttery,

but then, it would have been my fault.

Saw a guy the other day beating his computer,

said, "The damn thing won't turn off!"

I told him Just to remove the battery,

"No thanks to you!" He coughed.

The lawn was in order,

until they came to scoff.

It wasn't orderly enough,

so they tilled it into tough.

Sent the militants from Arkansas,

down on the DC lawns,

there must be law and order,

or we will all be pawns.

They put up a great battery,

to keep the salt-and-pepper in line,

but the gingham tablecloth wrinkled,

and they all fell off in time.

When the red ones and the blue ones,

get together they provide a vibrant scene,

but those two colors always clash,

providing nothing of a blend in between.

So I will take my salt when it is buttery,

and butterfly off into the great fluttery.

Smashed monarch on the windshield of the world,

is not my idea of flattery.

I found myself thinking multiple interpretations to this moderate rap where stanza to stanza, darkness mingles with the lightness of many thoughts. Of course, the grin on my face came with: When the red ones and the blue ones,
get together they provide a vibrant scene,
but those two colors always clash,
providing nothing of a blend in between.

Here, good and evil of the day were exemplified with a simple rhyme that even a White Supremicist could understand in-between swallows of his or her colorful mind altering capsules of lies and haltered. Okay... so I went off the deep end, but I'm starting to watch for any light hearted way to purge as my brain is getting mushy with sorrow of the country's state of affairs.

The Wholly Book of Genesis by Jay Dubya

The Wholly Book of Genesis is a humorous satire on the first book of the Old Testament where the Story of Creation, the building of Noah's Ark, Sodom and Gomorrah and the families of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob are thoroughly spoofed and broadsided.
