This poem is a lot of fun. You chose to make it in color and that is quite fitting. The first line already brings in music to our eyes. My favorite line is: “I will reengineer myself thrice online” — key word there being ‘thrice.’ Ron, you have a unique relationship with wit, which reaches out from both serious piece, sensational pieces, and humorous writings. You can even mix and match them . . . that’s a talent. ~~ djl

I made up my mind to become an indie the day I learned exactly how the publishing industry works. Yes, I probably would have been a commercially successful writer. Many have told me that over the years. But that brand of success is not worth the loss of my autonomy, or the probable loss of my published name. It would also make it much tougher to touch my readers and receive their feedback, for good or for bad. Being an Indie, to me, means having the freedom to do what I do best on my own terms.

No one should use AI when writing their own stories and poetry. When the emotions are not genuinely coming from the author the piece is NOT WORTH READING.

When I write my stories, I'd like to write as though I am speaking it from my heart. I think and therefore I speak, and therefore I write. That's how to make my words flow. There are no pretence. Words of my own, good or bad, are worth a whole lot more than the words searched from AI - Any writers would agree with me. I won't even know how to search for it. Too troublesome!!!

Write in your own words, you owe it to your friends and fans who love reading you.
