Somehow, I find remembering those we sent to slaughter unsettling. War is not the way to settle disputes with glory. I prefer something more humorous after losing three uncles to PTSD.

Man’s Best Friend Helping Him

with His Memory Loss by Ron AI

Memory Moral Day

It is with great regret,

That I think of, and yet,

That I’ve lost all my,

Marbles to forget.

But there’s this wonderful guy,

They call him simply, AI,

Who finds what I can’t remember,

In a cloud lightning sky.

From the top of my noodle,

All I have to do is Google,

And my memory returns,

Like a 100 meter boondoggle.

The good part of forget,

There’s no moral regret.

My morality is wiped clean,

Beginning again with a gleam.

With no moral worry,

I’m not eager to hurry,

And blame others,

For how they are blurry.

In fact, I find truth,

In rebirth of youth,

Returning to my childhood,

Innocence, not uncouth.

I'm still trying to make peace with the concept of AI, because I'm too aware of the dangers. I'm happy that some people, yourself included, gain so much from it, though.

The above (your verses and the message expressed) has always been my "philosophy." What you share via your verses is very apt, timely, and meaningful considering the current "state of affairs." Namaste, Ron...

Returning to childhood innocence could never be uncouth. Enjoyed your romp thru the poem today. Some memorable lines, as Diana pointed out. AI seems to be here to stay and will develop even more.

Fun way to start the day, Ron! Thank you for this jaunt to overlay the haunt. Gem of an AI you made, too…the puzzle pieces and butterfly, the very, neatly bare human and the burning mind. My favorite two lines are: “The good part of forget,/There’s no moral regret.” Keep the words flowing….. ~~ djl
