We say something is
Just around the corner
But really what is there
Another opportunity
Or a disappointing stare
The suspense is often chilling
If you are entering the dark
Sometimes it can be thrilling
Like a fun day at the park
One thing I know it always
Is best to contemplate
What is around the corner
Because it is your fate
sometimes the unexpected and the unknown lurks around the corner and no matter what we imagine is there something else pops up ...so we need a whole lot of contemplating to do ...

Around the corner can sometimes be
scary. Higher gas prices, a car wreck,
a flat tire, someone gives you the
dirty finger, general every day stuff,
but I always look around there with
a positive out lo0k.

So true, Lynn! "The suspense is often chilling!" That's the sort of stuff Stephen King scares the crap outta me with, yet I still pick up one of his books as if to announce, "Go ahead, scare me to death!" LOL
