Up and down the stairs early
When panic did set in
The cable was out and I did pout
How can my day begin
I always check my e-mail
And then get on the Internet
Posts to read and blogs to write
And poems that make ya sit up and grin
I had no other choice
But work on the fifth novel I'd begun
It was amazing, yes it was
To see how much I got done
Without the distractions of checking
And reading and writing in rhyme
I just might finish writing this sucker
Before the end of time
YA THINK? LOL

What did we ever do before we had the Internet to start and finish and punctuate our days. If terrorists are failing to blow everything ut, it's probably 'cause they are too sidetracked checking their e-mail! You'll get that novel finished ...

Wonderful message to all. You must have read my mind. I had been meaning to tell everyone that I will get on with my new year's resolution to write my books.
What a timely piece this is! Yes, we all need time away from the net to concentrate on our writings.
