Up I get myself
Before the alarm
In the bathroom
Brush teeth no harm
Done but no time
To shower today
Gotta get the kid up
Don't want him late
No way
Hubby crawls out
And splashes his face
I am relieved
He can drive him
I can stay in place
When it is snowing
I don't like to go out
Breakfast eaten and dressed
No need to shout
At the kid to get moving
He's excited to go
But when they get there
There's no one
On account of the snow
You'd think with the fourth kid
We'd know what we're doin'
Perhaps old age is the reason
Our brain cells ain't movin'
