Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
was a great man of his time.
He struggled for freedom
for all mankind.
Non-violence was the robe
he wore every day of his life and
it shined so brightly in times of strife.
Peace was the sunshine every day of his life
and he had no need for struggles nor strifes
Every where he went he had God on his
mind, tho satan would tell him,
"Martin, get behind",
still, he kept God on his mind.
People threatened his life and put him in jail but he did not worry
because God nevers fails.
They beat him and scorned him
and spat on him too,
but he did not worry then ,
because he knew he would come through.
He prayed to God to give him the strength to endure. His soul was right and his heart was pure.
One evening while he was standing out all alone.
God said to Martin, "Son, you're coming home,
your job may not be finished
but you have run a good race so come home now my child, you've been blessed
with my grace".

with my grace". His job is not finished and more needs to be done. Thank God, there was someone with the nerve to open the trail. This has surely been a second trail of tears for many.
Freedom came from his death, a new America came from his death. Death has no sting. The right man for the right moment to change history derailing racist bigotry.
