Music Bach's Ballede

Poem Artwork

In one lovely April morning mist
I marvelled at the trees dew kissed
Sparkling diamonds in a shaft of sun
Made me think that there is only One
Who could have used such diversity
Seasons, weather, with a proclivity
To both enhance,and destroy creativity
Showing through landscapes nature
Death would bring new life to mature
Each season having it's work to do
Structured with a design to renew
Humans too, have a similar process
From birth to death as they progress
Where, when,or however death comes
New life's already beginning its hum
So keep in mind on your journey here
When it's over, it begins elsewhere

I love the sense of renewal in this poem, Eileen. There has been a killing frost here which has robbed us of the duration of the azalea's bright colors and the dogwood blossoms, however I am promised that there will be even more beautiful blossoms from the nipped buds that will regenerate...just as your poetry promises.
Love,
Taylor

Ha! You got that right sugar chum.

Seeds are formed, seeds are planted, seeds grow, the plant lives, the plant dies, and drops its seeds to begin the process anew. Love this insightfully spiritual look at nature and the destiny of those found in Christ. Blessings to you prolific and eloquent friend ...

natures beauty is a true work of art, never ceasing to both birth the awe struck glory within us and devestate us with destruction and as you've beautifully written..."when it's over, it begins elsewhere"
