When it pours rain I get urge to make temperatures surge the lightning~ to me is never frightening,~but always most enlightening~ I get a charge from the voltaic~ that's not at all prosaic~it lifts me so high I spread my wings to fly~til I catch hold of the star~ where I know you are~your thunder meets me with a roar~ just the way that I adore~ from thermal winds we get a lift~ on cumulus clouds we are adrift~we unite in stormy passion~spawning tornadoes as is your fashion caught in a vortex of hot desire we set the heavenly lights afire
Eileen, this is beautiful. Nature is so beautiful...amazing how it evokes such feelings. BTW...thanks for your kind words.

I have always loved the lightening and power perhaps because when I was little I always thought it was God.... And in a way it is and he does allow us to fly,... One day soon... I do in the Spirit now ... Safety in his arms .... This one is beautiful thank you Eileen..
I like it too. Nature renewing itself. God's tears in some cases, trying to wash away the insanity. The pic looks very much like the area I live in, South Mountain. Beautiful. Poem too.
