Wow what a picture! Great write as well! I think there are just somethings that we are not meant to understand just as in the days when Jesus walked the earth, there were many things that people didn't understand. Probably will always be that way...many things I have wondered about too! Great write!

...and he was so crazy that he dived into a rising twister and was gone forever in a whirlwind of extase...but it wasn't a Dust Devil, just an explosion of joy!

Great photograph of a Dust Devil! That one is of good size too! Have not see one that big yet, only small one to play with. A mystery, that is exactly what life is! Soon as we think we have the answers, another curve heads our way. Good write!

Eileen,

The winds swirling 'round here, too--but not dust devils, TORNADOES! Three weeks in a row, we've had warnings. Again tonight, south of Johnson County (where I live), tornado warnings were issued for Hill County. Unexpected severe storms popped up in the afternoon heat...I'm 'bout T I R E D of this! Please pray the severe weather season GOES. I'd rather see a dust devil, they're not quite as destructive. They can cause havoc, but not the wide-spread devastation that tornadoes can. Intriguing picture, and I love how the dust devil spun up your Muse! Well done!

Yes I find this dust devil very interesting
And thy can cost so much devastation
And destruction to a city or town
I live in El Paso TX surrounded by mountains
but in the desert you find them!
(and I think that's how it's meant to be
This is life's great mystery!
