Poem Artwork

Wrapped in the mantle
of blackest night by the
silent mysterious sea
I commune with
molten moonlight

I shiver with delight
as the water reflects
the fire that the moon holds
within its glorious orb

I feel my body
being invaded by
the invisible beams
as they seduce my
womanly ways

What powers
are given you
oh Moon of splendour
that you can have such
an effect on my cycle

I am in awe of your
wondrous power
I am invigorated by the
beauty with which you
convey your message

You speak to me in
tonal  beams of light
in which you keep
the ledgers of the night
and in the process cause
me to flow, what  wonders
you hold in your moonglow

etw~

Profound and enjoyable. I've never heard the effects of the full moon described better or in a more poetic way.

We all see the moon and the sea, yet perceive what we see differently.
The last stanza is mystic, a feeling unique to you... Tip top...

ET,

The moon only makes me hairier. And I get these gaps in my memory...and I wake up naked in strange places...and folks animals keep coming up missing...you don't suppose...naaaahhhhh!

Stellar reflections, btw!

Peace,

B

I love the title and the poem, Eileen; it sets my mind to wandering. So appropriate for this time of the full moon, also. Beautiful water words that make me want to dream under the stars and fall asleep bathed in the silvery mist of Luna’s light. I am delighted to find a few moments to read one of your amazing poems.
Take care,
Sherry

Oh my yes! The moon's power controls so many things about the sea and woman. One old wives tale is babies' births being ruled by the moon. Amber is right on with her 85% water estimate.
Kudos, Your Majesty. Finely penned tribute to that silver orb filled with power!
Love,
Annie

Eileen, such a picture of paradise. The words you've written above give breath to the flesh. Caressing the womans soul in awe of beauty and her surrounding in the moment. Beautiful, my Dear Friend.

Ah yes... combination of moontides and seaflow... a rhythm and pulse that to a woman is totally irresistible... the only dance partner that knows our moves and orchestrates our turns in intuitive harmony with our own moods and turns. Delightful symbiosis between our interweaving elements, external and internal, thankyou, Eileen. xx

The moon is mesmerising and inspiring as quite clearly is reflected in this superb work. You have created a wonderful combination here. As the moon dictates the ebb and flow of our tides how can she not help but influence us - as Abdi-Noor says we are mostly water - I thought in fact it may have been as much as 85% but my human biology studies were a long time ago now so I am probably way off the mark. This was a great start to my morning so thank you lovely lady. Hugs, Imp ;)x

There are special powers which are buried within the glow of the moon. It affects the sea waves and can even trigger negative actions in the minds of certain people whose crime rate reaches peak when the moon is glowing brightly. It can even have an effect on epileptic people. It has these effects on us because human body has a very high percentage of water (75%?. Thanks dear Eileen for this wonderful offering and God Bless You Queen.

A very enriching, spiritual, soul soothing piece you have penned here. As we all walk through life's journey to leave a mark behind that says "We were here" God watches and accepts all the praises....

Be safe,
Karen

Eileen,

Think you said it all:

'I am in awe of
your wonderous power
I am invigorated by the
beauty with which you
convey your message'

A joyous celebration of Creator's nightlight and I celebrate your words! :) Beautiful.

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.
