We wouldn't appreciate spring
if we didn't have winter;-)

The beauty of a
day like this
entices me with
natures kiss
as blossoms pop up
here and there
slowly winter will
disappear
and along with this
new start
the ice will melt
around my heart
and I too will begin
to flower
within the bosom
of this hour
as birds sing of all
the new birth
that's now renewing
planet earth
and everyone will
give a cheer
because spring is
finally here

Got to love this one. You could've written this 200 years ago and it would still have the dsame abundant flower bouqet. This is a timely piece to be born throughout the ages.

Love and blessings!

E T, your messaage of renewal for the advent of spring is encouraging. Winter always seems to last more than one season. Thanks for the reminder that we must experience the not so good to amply appreciate the good. As always, your poetry is professionally crafted. Jon Michael Willey

Yeah! I'm all for spring, Eileen!
It's been so cold here, I look
forward to warmer days ahead!

I'm looking forward to Spring, but not the severe...which usually happens! Beautiful anticipatory write, Eileen, well done! A StormSpinner kind of write--wish I'd thought of this. :)

Can't WAIT! Our trees look so dull and lifeless, the skies are gray and my spirit tends to fold...

NOW, on the other hand...those little green buds brighten up everything surrounding, and the anticipation can allow us to spark the adrenalin needed to get us though till Spring! God's way of helping us through the bad times!
Ya got me going Eileen!:)
Love and Peace~

Indeed, yet many don't have our four seasons, yet as you say ole fruit, i love 'em all.... we may even get SNOW this weekend...

Unlike most people, I don't like spring. Too stormy here in Texas; living in Tornado Alley (with NO basements or shelters around!) does that to me. Very good write, though; and I love the artwork! BRAVA, Eileen!

(((HUGS))) and much love, your friend in Tx., Karen Lynn. :D
