I had come to the mountains
to spend some time in quiet
meditation, and stillness,but
a few storms had me edgy
alone in the darkness,until
sitting by the window
of my cabin in the woods
I watched the morning
sun burst forth in glory
and a gift was given me
as I got to see two deer
that were drinking from
a misty stream that had
been refreshed in the
storm that had kept me
huddled by the fire last
night,and my desire to
leave was now quelled as
I was captivated by the
deer,and the glorious
colors of a dreamers dawn

Just beautiful! The vulnerability and unease you felt in the night's storm was replaced by reverence and calm at the simple pleasure of watching wildlife drink from God's hand..........you had me right there with you in this one!
How can one reject the peace and gentleness of such a poem and picture. Love, Peace and Blessings Always, Paul.
